Occlusal Splint

An occlusal splint, also known as a night guard, is custom-made from a hard plastic that partially covers the upper teeth and is worn overnight to help protect against damage that is caused by involuntary grinding or clenching. It also assists in relieving tension in your jaw joints and surrounding facial muscles.

It is important to note that there are many factors that can contribute to grinding or clenching, therefore an occlusal splint might not be the right treatment option for you.
